Forget the Masters: Watch Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford tee off in the ‘Matt-sters’

It’s the time of the year for the biggest golf event of the year. No, not The Masters. Tiger Woods isn’t back, as much as you may or may not want him to be.

No, it’s time for The Matt-sters. Matthew Stafford and Matt Ryan have started a new, hopefully-yearly golf competition. The “Tommy Armour Matt-sters Challenge” pitted Stafford and Ryan in a triathlon of golf-related events, including a longest drive, chipping contest and closest-to-the-pin competition.

Sadly, Ryan came out on top this time with an impressive chipping performance and a near hole-in-one.

Both Ryan and Stafford have been friends for some time. They competed together in a church basketball league, and they’ve vacationed together. So this is just the latest in their friendly competitive lives.

Ryan may have won this round, but don’t count out Stafford in the long-game. As we know, Ryan has a propensity to blow big leads and Stafford is Mr. Comeback.
