Monday open thread: Happy Memorial Day

Thanks to all those serving around the world.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone today. No Question of the Day, but feel free to share any personal stories of valor from you or anyone in your family.

Thank you to all that have served (or is currently serving) for this country.

Some site notes for this week:

  1. We’ll have some very limited coverage today, including the next issue of our Legacy Lions roster series (running backs). Tomorrow, we’ll be back to a full set of coverage.
  2. The PODcast will drop on Tuesday this week with a full recap of Week 1 from OTAs. We’ll also enter Week 2 of our 2017 Season Rewind series to talk about Lions vs. Giants.
  3. The long-awaited Offseason Book Club will also be released this week in audio form. I PROMISE. After it drops, we’ll announce the next book to read.
  4. If you’re wondering about the Lions’ practice schedule, they have two scheduled OTA sessions this week: Wednesday May 30 and Thursday May 31. No word on which will be open to the media.
