Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was one of the earliest adopters of the Kenny Golladay Hype Train. Back in 2017, Johnson visited Detroit Lions training camp, and Golladay, then a rookie, made a huge impression on the former Pro Bowl Bengals receiver.
“I’m not a scout but I know my shit, Golladay is gone be special,” Johnson tweeted out after an August practice.
That young boul Golloday has that "IT" factor ®

Now it appears that Johnson may be willing to take Golladay under his wing. In an Instagram post from over the weekend, Johnson posted a video of him working with Steelers receiver Antonio Brown. In the comment section, Golladay reached out to Johnson to see if the two could meet up (hat tip to @btrue_927 for noticing it):

Golladay (@kgxix on Instagram) appears hopeful to work alongside Johnson this offseason, and that feeling appears to be mutual.
This wouldn’t be the first time a Lions receiver has worked with a former All-Pro receiver. Last offseason, Marvin Jones Jr. worked with Hall of Famer Randy Moss, and he plans on doing so again this year. Whatever he learned from Moss last year seemed to work, as Jones had a career year in 2017.
As for Golladay, there is plenty of room for growth after a rookie year that started out promising, but tailed off due to injuries. Hopefully, Johnson can have a similar impact on Golladay to the one Moss had with Jones last year.
