Fourth of July open thread

Happy Fourth of July to our American readers, and I guess happy Wednesday to everyone else. We’re off today, unless news breaks. So enjoy the day. Feel free to talk about whatever you’d like in the comment section below. And prepare yourself for Round 2, Part 2 of the Name Bracket Tournament coming tomorrow (voting is still open for Part 1 here).

Happy Independence Day to everyone, go have yourself some barbecued meat, some jello casserole, and some adult beverages (if you qualify as an adult). And try to keep veterans and dogs in mind if you’re debating shooting off fireworks at 2 a.m.
