With their first preseason game in the rear-view mirror, the Detroit Lions return to practice on Monday morning to prepare for Week 2 of the exhibition season. The New York Giants come to town on Tuesday, leaving the Lions one day of preparation before the highly-anticipated joint practices start.
This will be the Lions’ first practice since their preseason opener, so it may be our chance to see if anyone was injured in the game on Friday. Taylor Decker and Golden Tate both left the game quite early, but it was unclear if that was a precautionary measure or a serious injury situation.
Plus we’ll get to see if the Miles Killebrew transition to linebacker was a one-week experiment or if this is a more permanent move for the young defender.
