This is how we do it. It’s Friday night, and I feel alright. The Lions are here on the east side.
It’s Week 2 of the preseason and the Detroit Lions are back inside the comfort of Ford Field for the first time since their 2017 season finale win over the Green Bay Packers. Much like that game, this game won’t mean anything in terms of playoff standings.
The New York Giants are in town and the team has just spent an entire week practicing against each other. But tonight, it’s for real. And by real, I mean it’s not at all. It’s preseason. But it’s still important for every player out there, whether they’re just shaking off rust or fighting for a job.
So join us as the Lions play at a thankfully reasonable hour tonight, and hopefully put up a performance better than last week’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
