The Detroit Lions season opener against the New York Jets is just 11 days away. But before we start talking about that Monday night opener, we—and the Lions themselves—have some work to do.
The 53-man cutdown deadline looms less than 48 hours away, and several Lions and Browns players will be playing Thursday night for their professional careers. Even though the level of play is admittedly lower, that can create a tense and emotional atmosphere for Thursday night’s game.
So join us as we close out the preseason and begin to welcome in the 2018 NFL season. In the comment section below, chat during the game or even chat about any of the other games going on.
