Tuesday is behind us, which means it’s time for the Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders to put their first joint practice behind them and focus on Wednesday.

That should be an easy task for a guy like Jarrad Davis, who had a forgettable day in Napa on Tuesday. A couple of backs lived up to their name and put Davis on his back, one in embarrassing fashion.

But today is a new day and a new opportunity for Davis, and every other player out there, to make a positive impression and grow from the day before. They say the ultimate goal this time of year is to simply get better than you were the day before. And with the regular season looming just a month away, those opportunities are limited. The time to improve is right now.

So to follow the Lions players on their journey to get better, we’re going to keep an eye on Wednesday’s joint practice, the final one between the Raiders and Lions. Practice begins again at 12:15 p.m. ET.

Below is a Twitter list filled with writers from both the Lions and Raiders beat. The list will update automatically as the observations roll in. Enjoy!
