After some cuts, trades and injury designations, the Detroit Lions have a 53-man roster in time for the NFL’s 4 p.m. ET deadline on Saturday. Though the roster is far from “finished,” we have our first look at what the team may look like going into Week 1 against the New York Jets on “Monday Night Football.”
Now that the roster has been established, it will be Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia’s job to build a practice squad and scour the waiver wire to see if any players cut by other teams can help this team more than some of their current players.
But for now, the Lions have 53 players on their roster. Here they are:
