NFL Week 3 early games open thread

Come watch some football with us while we wait for Sunday night.

For the third straight week, football Sunday opens up without the Detroit Lions on the 1 p.m. ET docket. Don’t get used to it, because outside of Thanksgiving and a Week 14 game at Arizona, it’s all 1 p.m. ET games from here on out.

But if you like a Lions-less Sunday afternoon, cherish it today. There’s a solid set of games to open up Week 3, and you can take the time to not stress out about the Lions and just enjoy some good football.

The early docket includes a few divisional games that should have some intrigue as well as some NFC North games to keep an eye on. The most interesting game is probably Saints vs. Falcons in an NFC South showdown, but don’t sleep on Jaguars vs. Titans or 49ers vs. Chiefs.

Here’s the full slate of early games:

Saints at Falcons - FOX
49ers at Chiefs - FOX
Raiders at Dolphins - CBS
Bills at Vikings - CBS
Colts at Eagles - FOX
Packers at Washington - FOX
Bengals at Panthers - CBS
Titans at Jaguars - CBS
Broncos at Ravens - CBS
Giants at Texans - FOX
