Despite a somewhat lengthy injury report, the Detroit Lions will be in fairly good shape on Sunday night for their contest against the New England Patriots. T.J. Lang is active and will return after missing Week 2’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Perhaps most notably, Darius Slay, who suffered a concussion last week, is also ACTIVE this week, clearing concussion protocol just before Sunday night.
However, Ezekiel Ansah remains OUT despite a full week of limited practice. Ansah suffered a shoulder injury in the first half of the Lions’ Week 1 game against the Jets.
New England, on the other hand, will be missing quite a few starters, including three on defense alone. Trey Flowers, Patrick Chung and Eric Rowe were all declared out on Saturday night and are obviously inactive. Newly added wide receiver Josh Gordon will NOT play, as he both works his way through a hamstring injury and learns the Patriots offense.
Here are the full Week 3 inactives.
