NFL Week 4 picks: Staff predictions for Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys

New, comments

Here’s who we’re picking for the Lions’ Week 4 game.

NFL: Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Will the Detroit Lions keep the good times rolling on Sunday or was last week’s upset victory over the New England Patriots all for not? Week 4 is a litmus test for the NFC North team. Are they truly improving every week or did their serious issues lay dormant for a week.

Winning on the road in the NFL is never easy, and the Lions will also be facing a team desperate for a win. The Dallas Cowboys hold the same 1-2 record as the Lions, but in a bigger market they’re facing a lot more scrutiny and they’re coming off a hugely disappointing loss.

This early in the season, it’s really hard to read either of these teams, but the staff here at Pride of Detroit is mostly riding the wave of optimism still flowing from last week. Of our 14 staff members, nine are picking the Lions to win this week. Check it out.

Kent Lee Platte (2-1): 30-17 Lions
Chris Perfett (2-1): 5-2 Lions
Hamza Baccouche (1-2): 28-18 Lions
Justin Simon (1-2): 20-13 Lions
Kyle Yost (1-2): 20-14 Lions
John Whiticar (1-2): 30-20 Lions
Andrew Kato (1-2): 17-13 Cowboys
Jeremy Reisman (1-2): 19-16 Cowboys
Kellie Rowe (1-2): No pick
Mike Payton (1-2): 21-13 Lions
Levi Blue (1-2): 24-13 Lions
Jerry Mallory (0-3): 23-20 Cowboys
Mansur Shaheen (0-3): 24-9 Lions
Alex Reno (0-3): 21-18 Cowboys
Ryan Mathews (0-3): 28-24 Cowboys
FanPulse (0-3): Lions by 6
