Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys first half open thread

It’s nearly time! The Detroit Lions will either sink or swim in Week 4. Swim, and the Lions pull themselves out of the bottom of the NFC North, and could even share part of the lead, if the chips fall their way. Lose, and they’ll remain at the bottom of the standings, and confidence will take a huge hit for the franchise. A 1-3 start isn’t a death knell, but with divisional games starting next week, that’s not where the Lions want to be when hosting the Packers next week.

But the Cowboys are in just as desperate of a situation. Sitting at 1-2 themselves, they can’t afford to fall that much far behind Washington or the NFC conference champion Eagles this early in the season—not to mention there are serious doubts about the franchise’s organization.
