In order to drum up excitement for their season opener and hopefully increase attendance numbers, the Detroit Lions are offering “Standing Room Only” tickets to Monday night’s game against the New York Jets.
This is something the Lions have been doing more and more often, especially for marquee, nationally-televised games like this one. Team president Rod Wood even oversaw the development of a standing room only platform for the 2016 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers:
Here's the just finished standing room only platform at @fordfield Gate G as I was leaving last night. Some SRO tickets are still available. pic.twitter.com/pwHuQxxOeo

Tickets are somewhat affordable at just $49, and there are six different sections located throughout Ford Field (graphic courtesy of Ticketmaster):
Of course, if you’d rather have an actual seat, there are still tickets available for the same $49 in the upper bowl, or you can even get ticket on the secondary market for under $100.
Either way, if you want to go to the Detroit Lions’ season opener, there are more options available for you now. Head to DetroitLions.com/tickets or call up 800-745-3000 if you’re interested.
