The first Sunday of the NFL season continues with four more games in the 4 p.m.(ish) slot. The early games saw some decent debuts of rookies cornerback Denzel Ward, running back Saquon Barkley and receiver Dante Pettis.
We saw some shocking results (see: Buccaneers vs. Saints) and some predictably awful play (Hi, Bills). But now it’s time to turn our attention to the late-afternoon games.
On the slate are four games of varying intrigue. Chiefs and Chargers could be an interesting game if you’re down for some AFC action, but the “Game of the Week” in the late-game slot is almost certainly Cowboys vs. Panthers. Here’s the full lineup:
Chiefs at Chargers (4:05) - CBS
Seahawks at Broncos (4:25) - FOX
Washington at Cardinals (4:25) - FOX
Cowboys at Panthers (4:25) - FOX
