Sunday Night Football open thread: Bears at Packers

The first Sunday of the 2018 season is almost through. The NFC North is currently undefeated, although the Minnesota Vikings are the only team in the division to have played, and they thoroughly derailed the Jimmy Garoppolo hype train, at least for a week.

But before the night is through, there will almost assuredly be one team with a notch in the L column.

In just a few minutes, the Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears for the first NFC North interdivisional game of the season. Aaron Rodgers makes his triumphant return after a short stint on the field following his shoulder injury. Mitchell Trubisky enters his second season with a ton of hype surrounding his team, especially after the bold move to trade for former Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack.

Will the Packers reassert their dominance over the division, or will the Bears prove that the hype is more than just Chicago homerism.
