Detroit Lions injury report: A’Shawn Robinson, T.J. Hockenson among 6 questionable vs. Packers

The Lions have a lot of players listed as questionable, but there should be less concern about their statuses.

The Detroit Lions will be missing at least two players for their Monday night matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Defensive tackle Mike Daniels will not be able to get revenge on his former team as he has been declared out. So, too, has rookie fifth-round pick Amani Oruwariye. Both missed all week of practice, so their designations come as no surprise.

Basically everyone else on the injury list has been listed as questionable.

Rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson is among the six Lions players listed as questionable, but as a full participant in the past two practices, it seems quite likely he’ll clear concussion protocol and play on Monday.

It’s a little less clear for the likes of A’Shawn Robinson and Quandre Diggs. Robinson’s knee injury was new to the injury report this week, and while he mostly looked like a full participant during practice this week, he also had a day of rest during Wednesday’s practice. Diggs hasn’t been a full participant all week, though he appeared to be more active during Saturday’s final practice of the week.

As for guys like Darius Slay and Danny Amendola, though they were limited all week in practice, they appeared to do much more than in the previous stretch of practices in the lead up to the Chiefs game, in which both players missed. It would be a surprise if either player misses Monday’s game.

It’s also promising that quarterback Matthew Stafford has not been given an injury designation after a full week of practice unencumbered by his hip injury.

For the Packers, No. 1 receiver Davante Adams has been ruled out for Monday night, according to Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur. Adams has 25 catches for 378 yards in four games. All of the Packers’ other receivers have combined for 30 catches and 388 yards in five games.

As for rookie safety Darnell Savage, we’ll have to wait and see until the Packers’ full injury report is released. We’ll update this post when that happens. UPDATE: Savage is out. The full injury is below.
