Welcome to some early morning football! If you’re on the east coast, 9:30 a.m. football is an absolute treat, and you should cherish this day.
If you’re on the west coast, go back to bed. It isn’t worth it.
This year, the Panthers and Buccaneers kick off Week 6 with the second London game of the season. As far as Week 6 games go, this is a fairly important one. The Panthers are looking to keep their three-game winning streak alive, despite missing Cam Newton with an injury.
The Buccaneers are a gritty 2-3 thus far, but still very much in the conversation in the NFC race. They’ve already beaten the Panthers once in Carolina, now they’re looking for the early season sweep to jump them in the standings.
For the Lions, you should simply root for the team you think is worse. I think that’s probably the Buccaneers, but you could certainly make the case for either.
Anyways, feel free to chat over some breakfast and a coffee as we watch some early morning football.
