The Lions found a way to break our hearts in a new way yet again Monday night, and it stung just as bad as each time before. There’s blame to go all around, but the spotlight is on some absolutely baffling calls by the referees that repeatedly bailed the Green Bay Packers out of bad situations Monday night.
Question of the day: What’s the most frustrating part of the Lions’ loss to the Packers?
My answer: We all saw the bad calls coming.
LionsWire editor Jeff Risdon wrote in his game prediction last week, “You’ll want to hear [Dan Miller’s] call when the officials wrongly overturn a pass interference call to set up the Packers for a game-winning field goal.” Replace pass interference with two hands to the chest face penalties and a slew of missed penalties against the Packers, and you’re spot on. We all saw this coming. Disappointed, but not surprised.
Your turn. What’s the most frustrating part of this loss?
