Ask a Lion: Da’Shawn Hand, Jamal Agnew edition

A few weeks ago, we introduced a new recurring article here at Pride of Detroit called “Ask a Lion.” Basically, this is an opportunity for our wonderful readership to ask some of their favorite Detroit Lions players any and all sorts of questions.

The purpose of this is to keep the conversations light and get to know the players—as people—a little better.

Our first call for questions were for rookies T.J. Hockenson and Jahlani Tavai. Those plans hit a snag with Hockenson’s injury, but I did get a chance to interview Tavai and will have his answers to your questions on Saturday. I am transcribing that interview as we speak (okay, not literally. I’m typing this as I speak). I will still try to get Hockenson’s answers at some point in the near future.

This week, I’d like to field some questions on some more veteran players: defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand and cornerback/punt returner Jamal Agnew. So here’s what I need from you.

• Try to keep them fun and original. You can still ask football questions, but I’d like this to be a pretty stress-free interview for the players in an effort to know them better, not hold their feet to the fire.
