The Detroit Lions will have a a new face back for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Safety Quandre Diggs, who missed last week’s Packers game, is ACTIVE for Week 7, as he appears to be recovered enough from his hamstring injury to give it a go.
Unfortunately, it looks like defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand is still another week away. Hand had his first full practice on Friday ever since he suffered a serious elbow injury in training camp, but he is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. With Hand out, the Lions will likely have to rely heavily on backups John Atkins and Kevin Strong against an impressive Vikings running game.
Elsewhere, Darius Slay, Nick Bawden and Rick Wagner are all active despite being listed as questionable on the injury report.
Here’s a look at all of this week’s inactives between the Lions and Vikings.
