The Detroit Lions are in a tailspin. If they don’t pull up soon, the 2019 season will come crashing down before we even hit Thanksgiving. At 2-3-1, the Lions have lost all margin for error and likely have to finish the season with eight wins in the final 10 games if they even want a chance to sniff the postseason.

That all starts on Sunday, as the Lions host a New York Giants team in a three-game skid of their own. It’s a little more expected that the Giants would be where they are today (2-5), given they’re playing a rookie quarterback, and they shipped away all of their defensive talent in the past year.

But the Lions have struggled to put away bad teams in the past, and they can ill afford to struggle this week. Saquon Barkley could make the Lions’ weak defense pay if Detroit isn’t careful. That being said, this matchup heavily favors Matthew Stafford as well.

So can the Lions bounce back this week? Come and watch with us.
