NFL Week 5 early games open thread

It’s the bye week. Sit back, relax, and root for the NFC North to tank!

It’s a little early for the bye week. It seems like we were just kind of getting into a rhythm here. The Detroit Lions are playing well enough that it’s actually kind of a bummer that they aren’t playing today. On the plus side, I haven’t seen even one sarcastic comment like, “Well, at least the Lions aren’t going to lose this week.”

But I’m guessing a bunch of you have an NFL addiction and will be watching Week 5 with the kind of fervor you would of any other week in the NFL. There’s a nice healthy slate of 13 games on Sunday, and a couple of actual good matchups.

So while 10 games kick off on the early slate, let’s sit and watch them together. Feel free to chat in the comment section below about anything else you see. We’ll have a separate open thread for the afternoon game, since it features one of the biggest games of the day: Packers at Cowboys. Be on the lookout for that thread around 4 p.m. ET.

For now, enjoy these early games:

Cardinals at Bengals
Bills at Titans
Bears vs. Raiders (London)
Buccaneers at Saints
Vikings at Giants
Jets at Eagles
Ravens at Steelers
Patriots at Washington
Jaguars at Panthers
Falcons at Texans

And in case you need reminding, here are all of the teams you should be rooting for in Week 5 of the NFL season.
