It’s been a tough year trying to predict this Detroit Lions team. The beginning of the schedule looked like an unconquerable behemoth, but the Lions somehow managed to get out of the first four games with a 2-1-1 record.
Riding that wave of optimism, it seemed like this team was destined to be competitive as the schedule lightened up towards the end of October and into November. But that hasn’t happened. After a tough loss to the Chiefs and a controversial loss in Lambeau, this team has collapsed and now it looks like they could win or lose just about any game remaining on their schedule. As a result, our predictions have been just about as accurate as a coin flip.
This week, the Lions head to the Windy City for a date with the Chicago Bears. They’ve been just as unpredictable as the Lions this year—winning an impressive game over the Vikings, but dropping bad losses to the Raiders, Chargers and Eagles.
So what will happen this Sunday as the two teams face off?
Your guess is probably as good as ours. But here are our guesses anyways.
