The rivalry between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers has been one of the more memorable rivalries in recent years, and tonight’s match figures to be another exciting showdown.

The 49ers are entering this game as the sole remaining undefeated team in the NFL, with the New England Patriots falling to the Baltimore Ravens last week. The Niners had their first defensive blip of the season against the Arizona Cardinals, nearly allowing a late resurgence. Although the previously-stout unit gave up a season-high 25 points and 357 yards to Kyler Murray and Kenyan Drake, it was still a solid enough performance all around to secure the victory. With George Kittle hurting, newly-acquired Emmanuel Sanders figures to be Jimmy Garoppolo’s top target.

The Seattle Seahawks, meanwhile, are looking like another fearsome NFC West threat. At 7-2, their only losses have come against the Ravens and New Orleans Saints, both of whom are also 7-2. While they were pushed to the brink last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they are an offensive juggernaut thanks to MVP front runner Russell Wilson. Wilson has an absurd touchdown-to-interception ratio of 22-to-1, while also adding a dangerous element on the ground. Coupled with Tyler Lockett’s breakout year and Chris Carson continuing to be a solid back, the 49ers are in for another tough task.
