Last week, our Week 10 Detroit Lions predictions were mostly all wrong, but it’s hard to blame us. By the time all of our predictions were in, all seemed fine with Matthew Stafford. Then Sunday morning happened and news hit that Stafford’s broken back would end his 136-game streak of consecutive starts.
Though some staff members pleaded with me to change their pick for the week in that moment, I denied that request. I am a cruel, strict leader and one who will go down with the ship, if necessary.
Speaking of going down with the ship this week, the Lions are hosting the Dallas Cowboys for Week 11 in the NFL, and our staff is not liking Detroit’s chances this week. Again without Stafford, there isn’t a single prediction amongst the group that has the Lions scoring 20 points or more. And when you’re facing against the top-ranked NFL offense in DVOA, 19 points probably ain’t going to cut it.
So it should come as no surprise that we’re unanimously picking Dallas this week. Check it out.
