Detroit Lions Week 11 inactives: Tracy Walker WILL PLAY vs. Cowboys

New, comments

The Lions have their starting center back for the first time in a month.

In a surprise move, the Detroit Lions have made safety Tracy Walker ACTIVE for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Walker suffered a knee injury during Week 8 against the New York Giants and has since practiced just once: this Friday’s outdoor session.

Walker brings some much-needed help to a Lions secondary that has struggled immensely over the past four weeks. Now Detroit has Walker, rookie Will Harris and veteran Tavon Wilson manning the back line, which is more depth that they’ve had at that position since the Lions traded Quandre Diggs a few weeks back.

That’s the good news. The bad news is that defensive end Romeo Okwara is still inactive after suffering a groin injury during a practice last week. He missed the Bears game, but did return to practice this week. It appears he is just a week or two away, but the Lions will once again be shorthanded on the defensive line against the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, for the Dallas Cowboys, starting left guard Connor Williams is OUT, but starting right tackle La’el Collins is IN.
