Happy Thanksgiving to our American readers!

I hope you’re able to spend the holidays with loved ones this year. If you aren’t—or if you are looking actively avoid them this year—your Pride of Detroit family is here to spend the holidays.

The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears are probably missing the playoffs this year, but that doesn’t make the fans hate each other any less. This is one of the Lions’ biggest rivals, and it’s one they’ve actually gone toe-to-toe with for the past decade or so.

This game won’t be as special as some in the past. The both the Lions and the Bears are starting third-string quarterbacks (BURN), and nothing but bragging rights are on the line.

But we’re Lions fans. We’re used to the occasional no-stakes Thanksgiving Day game. Yet we keep lining up for firsts, seconds, and thirds.

So enjoy your food, try to get along with your family, and watch some Lions football with us.
