Sunday Night Football open thread: Patriots at Ravens

The undefeated Patriots meet the electric Ravens on Sunday Night.

It’s a battle of two of the AFC’s best as the New England Patriots face off against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

The Patriots have continued their dominance over the NFL, coming into tonight’s with an undefeated record. Not only have they yet to drop a game, they have looked unbeatable with an absurd defense. They have yet to allow over 14 points in a game, and while their offense has been good-but-not-great, their defense is doing a lot of scoring to make up for it. Baltimore is their toughest foe of the season thus far, but they have the means to shut down that offense.

Lamar Jackson has wowed this season, and coupled Mark Ingram, they have built one of the league’s most dominant run games. Jackson is coming off of two-straight 100 yard rushing games and is the league’s tenth leading rusher. Jackson has been quieter through the air however, and just Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews, and Willie Snead have established themselves as decent targets. The Ravens will look to establish an early lead so their run game can control the clock.
