Detroit Lions Week 9 inactives: Darius Slay, A’Shawn Robinson will play vs. Raiders

The Lions will get their star corner back this week.

The Detroit Lions will have their star cornerback on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. After missing last week and a few days of hot trade rumors, Darius Slay is back in Honolulu Blue and will be giving Derek Carr a rough day on Sunday afternoon.

Slay had been dealing with a hamstring injury, but practiced all week including full participation during Friday’s practice. His return is good timing, as the Raiders’ pass offense has been uncharacteristically solid this season.

Additionally, defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson is also active despite the ankle injury that popped up in the report on Friday. Robinson tried to give it a go in warmups, and after he had a long discussion with the trainers, they ultimately decided he could play.

However, the Lions will be missing some pieces as starting safety Tracy Walker and right guard Graham Glasgow are both inactive for Detroit.

For the Raiders, starting center Rodney Hudson is OUT, but backup Andre James is active.
