Week 10 of the NFL season kicks off tonight with a matchup between two AFC West teams hovering around .500 on the year. The Los Angeles Chargers will travel to face the Oakland Raiders on Thursday Night Football, with both teams looking to catch up to the Kansas City Chiefs atop the division and potentially land a playoff spot.

The Chargers have rebounded after a disappointing and injury-fill start to the year, having won two in a row, including a 26-11 victory over the Green Bay Packers last week. Their offensive and defensive performances this season have been lackluster, but they were able to get both Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler going on the ground against Green Bay. Keenan Allen has been quiet recently, but he and Mike Williams are two solid playmakers for Philip Rivers.

The Oakland Raiders have a night and day contrast between their offense and defense. Their offense ranks among the league’s best, with Derek Carr quietly having an outstanding year and Josh Jacobs lighting the league on fire thus far as a rookie. However, their defense is the polar opposite, ranking near or at the bottom in most statistical measures. The Raiders managed a victory over the Detroit Lions last week, though it came down to the last second.
