Sundays without Detroit Lions football are both depressing and freeing. On one hand, you are guaranteed to finish the day without being harmed by a Lions loss. On the other hand, you’d love to be watching the Lions make a playoff push right about now.
Still, to be able to sit down on a chilly Sunday afternoon and just watch 10 hours of football unencumbered by emotion or fury is the kind of afternoon I actually love.
Thankfully, Week 13 has a ton of interesting matchups to keep you entertained and keep your mind off of the Lions.
Chief among them in the early slate is the San Francisco 49ers facing off against the red-hot Baltimore Ravens. Combined, the teams have just three losses, which is as many wins as the Lions have all season.
Err... scratch that. We’re not talking about the Lions. This is supposed to be a stress-free day where we can forget that every Detroit and/or Michigan team sucks at their respective sport.

And if you’re starved for Lions storylines, here are the teams you should be rooting for this week in order to get Detroit the best draft pick.
