Detroit Lions Week 15 inactives: Bo Scarbrough, Christian Jones OUT vs. Buccaneers

It’s *check notes* Wes Hills time.

The Detroit Lions injury parade continues. This week has claimed running back Bo Scarbrough, who suffered a rib injury against the Minnesota Vikings and is OUT for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Saturday, the Lions promoted Wes Hills from the practice squad, and it’s possible he even gets the start this week, as rookie Ty Johnson and veteran J.D. McKissic have played more complementary roles this season. Hills is a 6-foot-2, 218 pound rookie out of Slippery Rock and has not seen an NFL action yet. With the Cardinals, Hills rushed for 63 yards on 13 carries in the preseason.

The Lions will also be missing starting linebacker Christian Jones. With Jarrad Davis already placed on injured reserve this week, that means the Lions will likely rely heavily on rookie Jahlani Tavai and special teamer Jalen Reeves-Maybin in significant roles this week.

Here’s a list of all the Lions’ Week 15 inactives.

QB Matthew Stafford

G Beau Benzschawel
