If Detroit Lions fans could have it their way, the team’s current seven-game losing streak would extend to nine by the season’s end. If the Lions “succeed” in that, they’ll have—at worst—the third overall pick in the draft.
Of course, there are some that, understandably, just want to see the team win. Regardless of circumstance, it’s not particularly easy or fun to watch the team you like get bowled over week after week. And with head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn now guaranteed one more shot in 2020, it’d be nice to see any reason to be hopeful those two can turn it around next season.
But our staff isn’t feeling very rosy about Detroit’s chances this week against the Denver Broncos. With the Lions in free fall and the Broncos showing some signs of life over the past month, our entire staff is picking the Broncos to win on Sunday.
