The Detroit Lions’ final injury report of the season is out, and it features another late addition. Kicker Matt Prater is questionable with an illness. At this point, the Lions don’t appear to have a backup kicker on the roster, so it’s tough to see him missing this game. Although if the Lions make a late roster change on Saturday, then it would make sense to question his availability.
That being said, defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson has been declared out, meaning the veteran defensive end’s season is over. With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Robinson may have played his last game as a Detroit Lion. If that’s the case, he’ll finish his career in Detroit with 172 tackles, 5.0 sacks, and 16 passes defended to his name in 58 games.
Elsewhere, the Lions have two linebackers questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers. Devon Kennard (shoulder) and Steve Longa (quad) were both full participants in Friday’s practice, so they should be able to give it a go. Still, the Lions promoted rookie linebacker Anthony Pittman from the practice squad on Friday, so they will have reinforcements available on Sunday, if needed.
Here’s the rest of the injury report:
DT A’Shawn Robinson (shoulder) - Out
LB Devon Kennard (shoulder) - Questionable
LB Steve Longa (quad) - Questionable
K Matt Prater (illness) - Questionable
RT Rick Wagner (knee) - Questionable
