It’s the end of this dreadful season. Just hours from now, the pain will all be over, and we can turn our focus away from whatever the hell happened to this 2019 Detroit Lions season, and let the healing begin.
The offseason brings hope and optimism in every case, regardless of whether it’s warranted or not. It helps in the recovery process as a repeatedly abused fan, and allows us to get through the next nine months of football-less days.
Anyways, the Detroit Lions wrap things up on Sunday against a pretty darn good Green Bay Packers team, and for those of us still taking the picks seriously, we’re expecting a bloodbath. The Lions have lost nine straight and are starting a third-string quarterback. The Packers are coming off back-to-back dominating performances against NFC North foes and are playing for a top-two seed in the conference.
Look away, before you turn into stone.
Here are our picks.
Justin Simon (9-5): 31-13 Packers
John Whiticar (10-5): 30-13 Packers
Kyle Yost (10-5): 27-17 Packers
Kellie Rowe (8-4): 1,947,392-7 Packers
Jeremy Reisman (9-6): 35-13 Packers
Mike Payton (9-6): Packers win
Mansur Shaheen (9-6): 23-14 Packers
Ryan Mathews (9-6): 28-10 Packers
Alex Reno (7-6): 30-7 Packers
Hamza Baccouche (8-7): 42-17 Packers
Levi Blue (8-7): 30-17 Packers
Andrew Kato (6-6): 31-6 Packers
Chris Perfett (6-9): 69-69 tie
Now let’s hear your predictions. Are there any among us dumb brave enough to pick the Lions in the 2019 season finale? Sound off in the comments.
