They say all good things come to an end, but thankfully, most bad things come to an end, too.

On Sunday afternoon the Detroit Lions’ 2019 season will take its last breath, leaving a wake of disappointment behind us. To take us into the new year, the Green Bay Packers are in town, along with a ton of their fans at Ford Field.

It’s not likely to be a pretty game for our boys in blue, and it may not be a very entertaining game, but this is our team, damnit. They’re all we have in this godforsaken league, and that means something to me, at least.

So join us for the Week 17 finale, because what else are you going to do? Spend time with family that has overstayed their welcome? Play with your brand-new toy from the holidays?Try like hell to return an item among lines and lines of impatient Target patrons?

No, this team has its hooks in you, whether you admit it or not. So come chat with us.
