NFL: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The Lions fought valiantly on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in spite of having absolutely nothing to play for—if anything, they had incentive to lose for better draft position. In spite of this, they did as the Detroit Lions do and put together an admirable performance in Week 17.

Question of the day: Are you happy with the Lions’ performance on Sunday against the Packers?

My answer: Absolutely.

It certainly had something to do with Aaron Rodgers’ arm not being calibrated, but the defense looked the best they have in a long time. They didn’t trail in 60 minutes against the NFC’s number two seed and provided 60 minutes of entertaining Deeetroit Lions football.

Considering the mess that this season has been with injuries, the loss of Quandre Diggs, the rumors surrounding the Lions coaching staff, and more, I’ll absolutely take that. As always, go Lions and FTP.

Your turn.
