It’s been a while since we’ve had an edition of Ask A Lion, but I promise you it’s not for a lack of trying.
Because playoffs are out of the question, now is a great time to get back on track and get to know some of the Detroit Lions players a little better. In order to do this, though, I need your help.
Each week, we try to ask a Lions player a series of fan questions to get a personal look inside the players of this organization. And for the players, I know it’s a nice break from the tired, repetitive questions about losing and Matt Patricia. By now, everyone is sick of questions and the answers.
“How do you bounce back?”
“Just come in and do the work.”
We’re all tired of the formula at this point.
So this week, we’re going to try and ask some interesting questions to two prominent players on the team: rookie cornerback Amani Oruwariye and defensive end Trey Flowers. If you’re an avid reader of Ask A Lion, you know we’ve already heard a little from Oruwariye during our interview with Graham Glasgow. But now I’d like to hear more from the rookie, especially now that he’s getting some serious playing time.
As for Flowers, he’s almost always down for any sort of interview, but we’re still scratching the surface of his personality. Since he’s in town for another four years, I’d like to get to know him more as a person.
So in the comment section below send us your questions for both players. Please let me know which player your questions is for—though it can be both.
