The release of Detroit Lions veteran safety Glover Quin will certainly be felt on the football field. But if there’s anything we’ve learned from his six years in Detroit, he’ll be especially missed in the locker room before and after the games.
Quin was the ultimate professional with the media—winning the 2018 Detroit Lions Media Friendly Good Guy Award—and he was the ideal teammate. Throughout his entire time in Detroit, Lions players lauded Quin’s effort to teach, mentor and lead by example.
So after Friday’s release, several Lions players (past and present) went to social media to pay their respects for the man that taught them so much. Here’s a sampling of the outpour of love.
(We’ll continue to update this post as more come in.)
