Sunday AAF Week 2 open thread

Come watch the Alliance with us!

NCAA Football: New Hampshire at San Diego State Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Day two of the Alliance of American Football’s first ever season kicks off (kinda) today after an interesting Saturday.

The Orlando Apollos (1-0) are back in action after a dominant Week 1 showing against the Atlanta Legends. They are the current Eastern conference favorites and have a chance to really put a market down as they face off against a talented San Antonio Commanders (1-0) team. San Antonio won a defensive battle against the San Diego Fleet last week, and now will need their defense to stand strong once again in they want to get by the Apollos high octane offense.

Both of the teams who fell to the previous teams last week will meet in the second game of the night. The Legends (0-1) came out flat in the season opener last week and will hope to get footing in the new league this week. The Fleet’s (0-1) defense played well last week but their offense just could not get the job done. Both teams will hope to avoid a dreaded 0-2 record to their franchises start.

Who are you rooting for today? Who are your favorites for the AAF title?
