Award season may be over for movies, but it’s time for Pride of Detroit to have it’s magical night. The Honolulu Blue carpet has been laid out, I’m currently wearing my favorite fashion designer’s sweatpants, and the sealed envelopes are ready to be torn apart.
Over the past few weeks, you, the kind Pride of Detroit reader, have nominated and voted for the best players, moments and coaches from the Detroit Lions’ 2018 season. Sure, it wasn’t the best of seasons for our boys in blue, but that doesn’t mean we can’t recognize some of the best and most memorable individual efforts on the team. Don’t think of it as participation trophies, but Employee of the Week awards for a failing company. Just because the bigwigs didn’t do their job doesn’t mean there weren’t some underlings that deserve praise.
So without further ado, here are your 2018 Detroit Lions Pride of Detroit award winners!
