Thursday open thread: What game on the Lions’ 2019 schedule would be best to see live?

Which game on the Lions’ 2019 schedule should be most appealing to fans?

NFL: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers Appleton Post Crescent-USA TODAY NETWORK

The NFL schedule dropped on Wednesday night, and fans are already counting their favorite team’s win total for the 2019 season. Of course, it’s way too early to think about that sort of thing considering the NFL Draft hasn’t even taken place yet, but there’s nothing wrong with indulging in a little fun, as long as you acknowledge that predictions carry little value this time of year.

What the NFL schedule does bring, however, is a set of possible viewing dates for live football. Detroit Lions fans won’t be treated to any home primetime games this year (unless they’re flexed into a Sunday night game later in the season), but that doesn’t mean there are no good games to attend this year.

So today’s Question of the Day is:

Which game on the Lions’ 2019 schedule would be the best to see live?

My answer: It has to be Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Lambeau Field is currently at the top of my list of NFL stadiums I need to see, and what better way to experience it than on a Monday night in mid-October when, hopefully, the weather isn’t unfathomably cold. Add in the fact that it’s early enough in the season where both teams should still be in contention, and the conditions are perfect.

Your turn.
