The NFL Draft is a long, arduous adventure. Seven rounds, three days, and somewhere around 14 hours of coverage. If you’re not obligated to, it’s tough to watch the whole darn thing.
So we’re going to try and make it easy for you. Below is the estimated time the Lions will make their decisions for all nine draft picks based on last year’s results. For example, the Detroit Lions currently hold the eighth overall pick. Last year, the Chicago Bears took Roquan Smith right around 9 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
Obviously, these numbers are subject to change if the Lions decide to trade out of any of their picks, but for now, plan on being near a television around these times.

Lions 8th overall pick: ~9:01 p.m. ET
Friday night - Rounds 2-3
