We’ve finally reached the final, and most exhaustive, day of the NFL Draft. Saturday will see over 130 players drafted, spanning four rounds and seven hours.
The Detroit Lions have already made three picks thus far, to varying degrees of popularity. The one that has drawn the most chatter is undoubtedly second-round pick Jahlani Tavai, whom many had not heard of when Detroit called his name as the 43rd overall selection. T.J. Hockenson and Will Harris were more traditional picks for the Lions, though there has been some criticism of those picks, as well.
The Lions enter the final leg of the draft with still a few positions of need. Will they find a starting-caliber guard? Is it too late to snag a No. 2 outside corner to put opposite Darius Slay? Will the Lions grab that backup quarterback that we’ve all speculated about for the past four months.
Here’s a look at the five picks they have entering Saturday.
Lions remaining picks
- Round 4, Pick 9 (111 overall)
- Round 5, Pick 8 (146 overall)
- Round 6, Pick 11 (184 overall)
- Round 7, Pick 10 (224 overall)
- Round 7, Pick 15 (229 overall)
The fourth round starts at 12 p.m. ET Saturday. You can follow along with the Twitter list below:
