The 2019 NFL Draft has wrapped up and we’re on to undrafted free agency. You can check out all of the Lions picks here, but we’re going to keep you updated on all of the undrafted signings, visits, and rumors right here. Many undrafted free agents (UDFA) make NFL squads despite the odds being stacked against them every season, and the Lions have been no exception to that.
2018 saw the Lions only keeping Brandon Powell as an undrafted rookie out of camp, but would later call up Mike Ford, John Atkins, and Chris Lacy. Only Mike Ford would see significant action.
So follow along as we track all the news that comes in for Detroit’s 2019 UDFA class. It’s important to remember that sometimes players change their mind and go with another team. Additionally, some players are invited to minicamp, but are not signed. We will try to distinguish which players fall in each category when specified.
