The Detroit Lions have two sixth-round picks just one pick apart. With the first of those two selections the team has drafted wide receiver Travis Fulgham out of Old Dominion.
Fulgham is a big-bodied receiver—6-foot-3, 215 pounds—who could compete for an outside receiver job down the road, especially if the Lions plan on moving on from Marvin Jones Jr. down the line. Fulgham capped a modest four years at Old Dominion with an impressive senior season, hauling in 63 catches for 1,083 yards and nine touchdowns—leading all Conference USA receivers.
With pick 184 in the 2019 NFL Draft, the #Lions select Travis Fulgham, WR, Old Dominion.

Knocks on Fulgham’s game include inconsistency when trying to create separation and obviously coming from a small school. He doesn’t win with speed, but his hands and ability to locate the ball are strong.
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein gave Fulgham a third-to-fourth round grade, while The Athletic’s Dane Brugler had him going in the fourth round.
This appears to be a solid value pick, with starting potential down the line for Detroit.
