Detroit Lions sign 4 more draft picks, 2 remain unsigned

The Lions have nearly signed their entire 2019 draft class already.

Monday afternoon, the Detroit Lions announced they have signed four more players from their 2019 NFL Draft class.

Fourth-round pick Austin Bryant, sixth-round pick Ty Johnson, and seventh-round picks Isaac Nauta and PJ Johnson have all signed their rookie deals with the team. Contract terms were not disclosed for any of those players.

That leaves just two players from the draft class unsigned: third-round safety Will Harris and sixth-round receiver Travis Fulgham.

It’s likely only a matter of time before each signs, and the fact that they aren’t under contract at this point means very little. Both were at rookie minicamp over the weekend as seen in the highlight videos on DetroitLions.com.

With organized team activities starting next week and mandatory minicamp just under a month away, it’s reassuring to see the Lions get their draft picks’ contracts out of the way early.

In addition to their draft picks, the Lions signed two undrafted players over the weekend after wide receivers Tom Kennedy and Jordan Smallwood impressed at rookie minicamp.

UPDATE: The Lions also shuffled one UDFA in and one UDFA out on Monday:
