A couple weeks ago, Detroit Lions nose tackle Damon Harrison Sr. teased that there was huge news coming soon. While fans were hoping there would be news about a potential extension with the team or an end to his contractual holdout, Harrison shared some unrelated news that was equally wonderful:
Welcomed 2 new additions to the Harrison family not too long ago! Twin boys!!! https://t.co/0tJ5QuGhoZ

This explains what general manager Bob Quinn meant a few weeks ago when he said that Harrison’s absence from OTAs was not contract related.
“No. He’s got other things going on,” Quinn noted after the draft, adding that “I’m sure we’ll see him soon.”
So while we wait to see if anything develops soon regarding Snacks’ contract situation in Detroit, we can take a moment away from that and congratulate Harrison on his two new sons. I’m sure Matthew Stafford will be more than welcome to hand down some advice on raising twins. Here’s hoping for the cutest playdates a few years down the road.
