Ask POD: Holding out for training camp

While others are holding out, we’re back and answering your pressing questions.

NFL: New England Patriots at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a week of holdouts. Darius Slay has officially stayed at home while the Detroit Lions started (and ended) mandatory minicamp. When Damon Harrison Sr. wasn’t bodying people on Twitter, he, too, was absent from this week of practices. Hell, some of our friends at Vox Media and SB Nation even spent a day away from their computers in an effort to find a new, fair deal.

But we here at the PODcast are taking no such time off. You’ve got ears that need tending to, and our voices are ready to give them literal messages and figurative massages. We’ve got minicamp to talk about. We’ve got holdouts to talk about, and we’ve got a Lions-Cowboys game to revisit.

We finish all of our shows with a segment of listener questions. So in the comment section below or using the hashtag #AskPOD on Twitter, send us any and all of your questions. We like to get a little silly with our mailbag segment, so if you don’t have a pressing Lions-related question, feel free to ask us about anything.
